Dear Tele-ads this is the occasion to give a progress report on the AnuBiS come back . Who are they and what do they want? Are they abolitionists, anarchists-PK or idealists? To answer these questions we welcome Colonel Kassad, co-founder of this secret society.
Salutations Colonel, what exactly is AnuBiS?
AnuBiS is a clandestine alliance linking partisans for the abolition of slavery in the Galaxy: guilds or independents refusing to trade in settlers!
You thus condemn the sale and the purchase of settlers?
Indeed, we refuse to regard people as simply goods. We all know slavery’s results: pre-space history is rich in examples on this subject!
But Colonel, this is foolishness. It is the creator of this universe, " Big-Bug ", who wanted it thus! And Settlers are not “really" Human: this is only a Game!
The universe is the universe, virtual or not. You are only Master of your own choices. Of course, in " reality " it is also " possible " to practice slavery or worse…or to avoid it or to fight it! In pre-space " reality " the paleo-slavers often used the argument that slaves were not " really " humans, just salvage: good only for being sold like simple resources!
We are not rebels without causes, but certainly without pauses! And as was said as recently as yesterday to me by the Muad'dib: " We play as we live, and vice versa! "
Yes but calling them " paleo-slavers " is perhaps excessive, some are honest space-merchants loving their colonists!
Frankly, if thousands of people in a (space)vessel waiting to be sold as goods, does not point out anything to you, re-boot your implants of pre-space history! It resuscitates the worst paleoracist and troglocapitalist attitudes: one would believe oneself returned to the second millenium!
Some call you a PK ; others respect you for your " KodA ", even some of your " victims ".Why this dimension of secrecy and mystery?
AnuBiS disturbs. Slavers thus try to pass off our partisans as PK... In vain, because we apply The KodA.
Thus we gain respect. And we have always OFFERED settlers to the newB or " crash victims". Moreover, all the partisans are not warriors; they contribute in their own way to the fight. And some are part of guilds which do not approve our actions. Add the fact that some of our coward but rich enemies use mercenaries and you will understand that some " mystery " is useful.
How does someone join you and become a partisan?
Abolitionism, taking contact and the respect of KodA are the conditions for joining our collective. We work as autonomous cells, no leaders, only partisans! There is a place for all : Explorers, manufacturers, space-merchants and, of course, warriors
On the other hand the [ ANARK@ØZ ] Cell is the armed branch of the noble cause.
Rule one is you can't join both : or you act and support AnuBiS in secret or you fight wearing the "°" tag : no "second accounting"!
